 75 series Hdro assist
I'm looking for help (ie diagrams or look at someone elses) with hidro assist on my dalliy driver. (latter on ill put it on thr truggie as well).
Where do i drill the two holes in the power steering box?
Can i use any old 2way hydraulic ram or is their any specifics?
(if i get a ram same lenth as steering dampneer with same stroke)
Any othe isues involved?
ps i all readdy have a 25% smaller power sterring pulliey

i really didnt think hydro assist was meant for daily drivers only trail only rigs, youu havent got the feel you would have with a normal power steer set up.

i only steer with one hand (wrist is also stuffed on that side) cause i accelarate and brake with the other even car parks can get difficult

I would post up on outers to see if anyone has done it there. The thing with hydro assist is it will make steering easier but will also make it alot slower as u now have to fill the ram now aswell. If u want to turn fast to avoid something u may not be able to. But that is just what i have read on pirate4x4, i have never driven anything with assist before.
It might be easier to see if u can just increase the pump pressure. Pressure gives u ease, Flow gives u speed. Over driving the pump will give u alot more flow but only a little extra pressure. I dont know if the extra 25% u have will compensate for the cylinder.

I just put iy on the buggy and it doesn't make the steering any lighte.
Iam hoping it makes my steering better off road

thanks haden.il try other ideas
ive been told by a mate who does hidrolics for a liveing
to port out the box and the pump and that makes a diffrents
but im thinking about buting an 80 series chasie under it
